At Granny Dot's Country Spot the bird life is prolific and will give bird watchers enough to talk about. Small birds chirp away in the trees and gliding eagles might be spotted, searching for prey. Often we are lucky enough to hear the beautiful call of the fish eagle.
There are numerous species of small game in the area, which you might see, such as Limpopo bushbuck, duiker, samango monkeys, vervet monkeys, baboons, porcupines, bush pigs, civit cats, side striped jackals, white tailed mongooses and small and large spotted genets.
